Isometric and Isotonics

Denise Deig

Belfair, WA

Isometrics are one of the most valuable tools we use in Ortho-Bionomy. They provide a fast and reliable means of resetting the neuromuscular mechanism and thereby restoring normal resting length on both sides of the joint.

This begins the neurological re-education process, resets long held patterns of dysfunction, actively engages the client in the therapeutic process, and often ensures a more lasting response due to the depth of change within the nervous system. This foundational work can transform your practice.

The more you understand the rationale behind Isometrics and integrate them into your sessions the more successful will be your results.
