The Bowstring Effect class was developed by Terri Lee an Advanced Instructor of Ortho-Bionomy. In this we ill be using Ortho-Bionomy to work with the “Bowstring”. The bowstring relates to the anterior, longitudinal, interconnected fasciae that help maintain the anterior-posterior balance of the body.” The bowstring begins at the base of the occiput and ends at the plantar fascia. It also has connections to the dural tube and the eight osteopathic diaphragms. In this class we will work with areas of the body that relate to this anterior line of fascia allowing the body to self-correct bringing tone and balance. We will also look at how this effects the posterior side of the body. |
