Class Description: This two-day Mounted Body Balance(TM) workshop focuses on self-care exercises for people, hands-on bodywork for horses, walking exercises for horse and rider. With this unique approach to working with strengths, we can increase function in both horse and rider, and provide valuable information to each other. Stiffness in you or the horse? Neck or shoulder pain? Imbalance in the saddle? Trouble mounting? Join us for a day of Mounted Body Balance™ and self-correction, discovery and change. Experience the deepening of the horse/rider connection through bodywork in this two-day workshop. While many people come to this work to try to solve their body and riding challenges, they learn that the horse can help support their bodies and the rider can support the horse's needs better. Equine Body Balance™ is informed by Equine Ortho-Bionomy® and Equine Positional Release (EPR)™. This gentle, but effective, non-force approach uses elements of healing that are in concert with the body’s natural tendencies. $375 before Early Bird (August 22) — $425 thereafter Contact Kari regarding haul-ins and overnight fees. There will be horses to work with at the workshop!
