Class Description: Liberty Foundations provide a unique herd-based approach to entering into a positive relationship with your horse. Do you have a horse who: Does all he’s supposed to but doesn’t seem to connect with you very well? - Is fearful? Too bold? - Doesn’t respect your space? - Is unwilling? - Is not joyful? By growing our observation and listening skills, we begin to understand the horse’s world. By working with our dimensions and senses we can deepen connection with the horse. Our connection resides in our own bodies. At the same time we work with herd behavior and what the horse wants you to know, furthering understanding and our relationships with our horses — all done without tack. By modeling cooperative relationships, without restraints, the horse becomes a willing and joyful participant. Join us for this informative and fun two-day workshop learning the six basic Foundations of Liberty and how to apply them to various situations. In this clinic you will learn: The fundamentals of how to work with a horse at liberty, inspired by equine herd behavior -Safety around the free horse -Observation and listening – with the herd -How to work with your own and the horse’s energy through the dimensions and breath. -How to work with space. -How to nourish curiosity and joy in the horse. -Feel when the horse is connected and when it has lost connection, and how to bring it back again. - Preparation for riding if/where appropriate. Location: Curly Dee Ranch, DeLand Florida. Time: 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Sponsored by Sound Horse Systems & Horses at Liberty Foundation Training

Class Name: Posture and Post Techniques
Subtitle: Posture as Expression and Rhythm
Instructor Name: Susan Smith
Start Date: 4/4/2020
End Date: 4/5/2020
Location: Canby
State/Country: OR
Class Description: In Ortho-Bionomy we work with posture to engage a more comfortable and functional way of being. We work with the three natural curves of the spine to make sure there is enough space for the organs, good circulation and nutrition, and a sense of all our dimensions and available movement. Post-techniques help re-educate the structural integrity of the spine, pelvis and ribcage. By finding the natural rhythms in the body we support that re-education process. Learn skills for integrating posture and post-techniques into practice and working with spinal patterns such as scoliosis, kyphosis and lordosis. Early bird deadline: March 3rd
Prerequisite: 1 Phase 4 Spine class
