Phase 5 & The Reflexes, a Subtler Approach

Rosa Rodriguez

New York, NY

Phase 5 is an elemental mode of working in Ortho-Bionomy. It's a hands on, subtler approach than the techniques learned in the fundamental classes. It requires a more sensitive approach and is especially appropriate for releasing acute pain, chronic patterns, and for people who respond to a lighter touch.

In this class you'll learn gentle and effective release techniques, how to refine your skills to be present, to become more aware, and to listen. In this mode we are encouraged to do less and to allow the client to be the guide for their self corrective process. In the fundamental classes you learned to detect a rebound, or pushing away after a positional release.

This response is what Dr. Arthur L. Pauls referred to as a reflex. In this class, we'll explore this further and learn how to employ other reflexes as defined by Dr. Pauls, in order to elicit a self corrective response. Dress comfortably.
