Cranial 2

Denise Deig

Belfair, WA

Cranial I is a prerequisite for Cranial II.

The Sphenoid Bone, or Anterior component of the S/B Junction, and its function is the primary driver or determinate for all of the Facial Bones. We will first review the function of the S/B Junction learned in Cranial I, and use it for ongoing assessment during this 3 Day Class. We will address each Facial Bone and all of it's articulations during this Class, from an Ortho-Bionomy and Positional Release perspective.

In addition to the Sphenoid Bone, this will include; Frontal, Ethmoid, Lacrimal, Nasal, Vomer, Zygoma, Maxilla (Palate), Palatine, and Mandible Bones. These frontal bones constitute the Orbit of the Eye, the body structure of the Nose, and the foundation of the Mouth.

The Temporal Mandibular Joint (TMJ) is a highly complex joint which has extraordinary demands placed upon it in the course of daily living. Eating and talking are two of its functions, which are vital to life.

We will start by treating Muscles which have an influence or attachment on the TMJ.
