Exploration of Movement
Melissa Malm and Nicky Roosevelt
San Francisco, CA
|
In this class, participants will learn to observe and explore patterns of movement throughout the body using passive movement. These movements can be a means of assessment, of release, and of integration. Releasing the patterns in the body through movement allows for a deeper functional connection to the nervous system, and thus a greater sense of self. By gently exploring and supporting preferred patterns of movement, the client is invited to actively participate and recognize their own patterns. These hands-on movements combine seamlessly with other body work you are already doing, so you can put them to immediate use. |
